The primary purpose of being a Friend of Michelmersh Church is to help care about the preservation, repair and upkeep of our village church by assisting the Parochial Church Council meet the costs of maintaining the fabric of this ancient building which has been in the village for centuries. There is certainly documented evidence of the church's Ministry here since 1212.

The Friends is a registered charity for which The Membership fee is any sum that you care to pay, preferably by covenant under a Gift Aid scheme, provided that it is not less than £5 per annum. Membership is open to everyone.

During the winter months the Friends organise a series of talks in The Barns (almost opposite the church). These normally start at 7.30pm and last about one hour. These are open to everyone but we ask for an entry fee of £3 per person. These talks and other fund raising events are advertised in the village newsletter and shown below.
