The villages of Michelmersh and Timsbury are situated 3 miles north of Romsey in Hampshire. (Hantsweb) They are in the civil Parish of MICHELMERSH & TIMSBURY, which is within the Test Valley.

On the 4th October Parish Council Chairman, Rory Fitzgerald will take the plunge in an attempt to swim 24 miles in 24 hours.
