Michelmersh and Timsbury Horticultural Society

The Michelmersh and Timsbury Horticultural Society has over 70 members with approximately half this number attending each meeting. The meetings are usually held in the Jubilee Hall, Timsbury on the second Monday of the month, at 7:30pm. Garden visits are also organised.

The Society holds 2 shows, Spring in March and Annual in July, where members display the results of their hard work.  The entries are judged by visiting judges and a number of trophies awarded. Show Schedules are given to members when they pay their subscription.

Very popular with everyone is the Annual Plant Sale. Members pot up their surplus plants, which are sold at very reasonable prices. Look out for the advertising in May.

Visitors are welcome at meetings and shows, a charge of £2. New members are always welcome. The annual subscription is £8 (school age members £4) Membership enquiries  CLICK HERE  or just come along to a meeting.

Link with the Braishfield Horticultural Society

The Michelmersh and Timsbury Horticultural Society has an arrangement with the Braishfield Horticultural Society so that members can attend each other’s talks and visits. The Braishfield Society programme can be viewed here. Please be prepared to show your named Yearbook at the door.
